THE MAN BEHIND THE MUSIC
A poet first.
A songwriter by necessity.
Songs Written From The Long Way Around.
Charlie Rubicon didn't begin with a genre. He began with words.
His songwriting draws from the experiences, questions, people, and contradictions that make a life worth examining. Rooted in Americana and rock, Charlie's lyrics move between reflection and rebellion, tenderness and irreverence.
These aren't songs about living a perfect life. They're songs about living one worth remembering.
